Taten sat on Santa's Lap today. I worried like most parents do when taking their kids to see Santa for the first time. Not whether Taten was going to cry when we sat him on this strangers lap, but if he was going to grab Santa's beard and put it in his mouth. He did eye the beard and Santa very closely, but never reached for the beard to my relief. I am surprised they got a picture with Taten looking at the camera. Can you see his cute little bottom teeth? Happy Christmas!Saturday, December 22, 2007
Santa's Lap
Taten sat on Santa's Lap today. I worried like most parents do when taking their kids to see Santa for the first time. Not whether Taten was going to cry when we sat him on this strangers lap, but if he was going to grab Santa's beard and put it in his mouth. He did eye the beard and Santa very closely, but never reached for the beard to my relief. I am surprised they got a picture with Taten looking at the camera. Can you see his cute little bottom teeth? Happy Christmas!Taten with Cousins
Here is a Picture of Taten with a few of his cousins. They are sitting on Hailee's bed, my sister painted the cute backdrop. We are making a "Who loves Taten" book. Since we live so far from family we want to make sure Taten knows who they are and that they love him. Derek, Jason and Emily we still need pictures of you and your families.
Taten Jump Up!!
So I am totally against Johnny Jump Up's because I use to work with some pediatric Physical therapists, who said that they were not good to use, but we received one as a gift and needed some entertainment. I read the instructions on the box, Do not use if child can stand independently or if bar is above childs arm pits, Taten is just big enough. He had fun learning to jump and I couldn't stop laughing.

Smile for the Picture
Dave never fails to make me laugh. I said smile for the picture Dave, I am usually the one with my tongue out or pulling a face. But some of me has rubbed off on Dave or he just knows when I need to laugh. In church on Sunday we talked about revelation coming to us in our dreams, That morning Dave had just shared his interesting dream with me. He was being interviewed for the Dallas Cowboys and he got the job and we were finacially set up for the rest of our lives. I guess we can tell what is on his mind. Football.
Rice Cereal
This week we started Taten on rice cereal, I was trying to capture his look of distaste as I put the rice in his mouth, but he was more interested in the camera than in eating his cereal. Most days I put on his bib and he contents himself playing with the bib and will not even look at his cereal. We are anxious to let him try some other foods because he eyes everything we eat and is more than happy to put anything he sees and can reach into his mouth. Also Taten's bottom two teeth came in this last week, when he is not chewing his tongue he is more than happy to show off his growing teeth.
