Have you ever wondered what it was like to watch 43 cars drive past at 180 mph? This is what Nascar is all about. It only takes the cars about 30 seconds to go around the 2 mile track. Needless to say race day goes by pretty quick.
Dave looks foward to the Las Vegas Nascar race every year. His friend Dan got him hooked. They are both like little boys waiting for Christmas. The countdown starts the second the race ends only 365 days to go... We love race day!
This year Grandma and Grandpa Critchfield made the trip. We only took Taten to qualifing. I was sure the noise would scare him. But each time a car past, Taten would wave his arms and scream with excitement. While Dave was at the race we enjoyed spending time with Taten's little cousins at the park and swimming.

Taten's little cousin looks the same age. I bet they loved playing together. I never thought of putting two kids in the swing before. What a great idea!
