Taten is all grown up now, and I'm not ready.

This is where I found Taten today. He was sitting at the computer and acting like he knew exactly what he was doing. He logged on to the Internet and opened several other windows. I shouldn't really be surprised because Taten loves to sit on Dave's lap while he reads Cougar Board and watches game highlights. And man o' man was Taten mad when I took him away from the computer. Yesterday Taten was a baby and today he is a little boy. We were folding the laundry today and he took his pajama bottoms and tried to put them on. He succeeded in getting one leg through and then pulled them up, I thought to my self, "No I'm not ready for you not to be a baby".
At Chick Fillet the other day he was dipping his own fries and chicken nuggets. Fries in ketchup and chicken in ranch. Smart little kid. I have also been taking Taten to the nursery for the last couple of weeks, its a lot better than sitting in the hall, and our awesome nursery leaders don't mind. Taten joins right in with the other kids playing and sits up to the table for snack time. Next thing I know he'll be going to preschool and then kindergarten. Like I said I'm not ready for him to grow up just yet.

TOO cute! When Ellie was little she renamed a few files on our desktop and I kept thinking somehow someone had downloaded p*rn onto our computer because they would have really random names like: bbbffffffffffkkk

They are amazing, aren't they? All we can do is sit back and enjoy.

Aaawwe! That just melts my heart because I totally understand. The paradox of us wanting to see what they will become while wanting to freeze them in time, or even go back to when they were "little".
Taten is smart! I can't believe what a big boy he is!

A few years ago I found Brody at the computer. I had left the Target window open so I just quickly got him out and closed it. A week later, what shows up at our house?? A package from Target with curtains that I had gotten online! They keep your orders on line with your card info. and sure enough Brody worked his way through and bought it again for me! I took it back the next day.
You never know what they can do!
