Yes that is snow. We made a quick trip to Utah over the weekend. Wow, was it cold. We woke up Sunday morning to a ground covered with snow. Although most of it melted before we got home from church and actually took the picture.My friend had a graduation reunion to go to and needed help getting there with her two little kids. I volunteered to the 12 hour drive turned 16 hour drive.
It was really fun to see our family and do a little shopping. Thanks to Dave and face book, I also was able to get together with a few friends from high school whom I haven't seen in years. It was fun to catch up and reminisce.

Holy cow -- that is BRAVE of you! When we drove up to UT/ID I knew we were going to have to stay a long time so I'd forget how awful that drive was before I came home. My kids were actually pretty good. Did you have a DVD player?
AND BRRRR! That picture makes me cold!
Brave indeed. Glad you could go though, and catch up with old friends. It really is fun to do once in awhile!
