We finally got our new sink and counter top installed. Here are pictures of the before and after. We love our new 57 year old house but the sink and faucet were leaky and I just could never tell if the counter top was clean. 
So they had to go. We like the change...next the kitchen gets a new floor. I wish I knew how to fix the icky musty smell in the cubboards. Any suggestions?

Yay for the new sink and counter! I bet you feel so much better! Have you ever wondered if you have a little bit of mold somewhere in the cabinets? Only thing that came to mind in regards to the musty smell. Hope you get it taken care of!
have you tried dryer sheets? Maybe put a few of those in them, or maybe baking soda? Do you ever read the blog Young House Love? They have a kitchen very similar to yours in shape that they gave a facelift to, they painted their cabinets white, check it out:
