Happy Independence Day!
The 4th of July is not the same when you live away from family. We really miss our families on holidays. We miss the Family BBQ, the parade, and the fireworks. Instead it was the three of us, movies, mexican food and fireworks from the church parking lot.
The men who wrote the Declaration of Independence believed in God and in the rights of every individual. Men and women give their lives everyday so that we can continue to enjoy our independence. I would love to quote the words of a popular song I am proud to be an American . . . but I don't know about the copy write laws ect. But I am sure you know the song. I truly am proud to be an American. Happy Independence Day!

Bonnie, we miss you guys. I am looking forward to a play date when you visit. I was thinking a lot about the freedom I enjoy and how grateful I am to live in America. I have such pride for my country and the principles it was built upon. God bless America!
I understand, Arizona (not my native home) is just not the same this time of year!! Hope you still had a good 4th!
