Memories

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you.

EVERYBODY PLAY!

I want to see what memories are out there!

I remember chatting about our missions to England when I got home from my mission. It was nice because I got to know you better. I was sad that I was in England during your wedding but it was nice to feel like I got to know you better. I remember thinking that were a very insightful person. I was right.

A flood of memories fills my mind. I think the first one was when we came to Arizona when McKenna was born. I shall never forget that exprience and all that you went through to bring such a valiant spirit into this world. I was glad I was able to share that with you. And the second one I will mention is Lake Powell last year when we both had newborns and were stuck inside the houseboat at night in 100 degree weather and up several hours each night and everybody else was up top with a slight breeze getting a full nights rest! Good memories! Love ya Bonnie!

For my memory...Whenever I think about you I always think about how much I love your hair. I love when you wear it curly. You have really good hair!

My first memory of you is when we were both waiting to interview at DWS. It was hard to sit and chat with you while I was considering you my competition for a job. Luckily we both got the job!
I also have a fun memory of playing games at your condo in West Jordan. I remember being so impressed at your decoration/designer abilities.
As a side note, when are you coming to visit? If you have time to meet up, email me and we'll arrange something.

It was me and you laying out at the pool at the Homestead several years ago, and I was totally excited to have someone want to lay out with me, and it was then as we were chatting that I noticed you had a tattoo. I asked you about it, but I can't quite remember what you said. I just remember thinking how cool I thought you were!!! Kinda lame I know.....

I have so many great memories of you. You have to be the sweetest person ever. And humble and amazing! I think my favorite times with you are when I'm surprised at your candor. I think you are so great because you're always so honest and I know that I can trust you to be completely honest about everything. I honestly don't think many people are like that. You never give "pat" answers -- they're always real and thought out. Plus you always do everything so perfectly. One day you decided to scrapbook and now your stuff is so gorgeous. Do Scouts -- sure! And you always have really clever and creative things planned too. Oh, and throw a whole Enrichment thing that is gorgeous. Houses -- perfectly clean. Son -- totally cute! Great wife. . . need I go on?

I ditto everything Maddy said!

You did such an amazing job for the RS Enrichment! You just put so much thought and care into it.

A memory I have is when the Young Women made cookies for you when you where on bedrest with Taten and I wasn't able to go deliver them to you with everyone else. I really wanted to visit with you even though I really didn't know you. I am so glad to know you now!

My favorite "Bonnie" memory is from before I had actually met you. Sarah would tell me about this amazing girl that she was assigned to VT. She was so excited for you when you found out you were pregnant with McKenna and she would keep me up to date on how things were going for you even though I had still not met you. Then...we were moved into the ward and I finally got to actually meet you. You were just like I thought you would be just so much like someone that I can look up to. (She however, never mentioned what great hair you have!) You found out you were expecting Taten and everything you would have to do to get him here and I just felt like you were such an incredible woman. I am still amazed at your strength and character. I am so happy that now I know you and I LOVE being your friend!

Obviously my memories can't go back too far, (what, 7 months back?), but I remember meeting you and Dave at the Christmas party and thinking, 'Why don't I know this cute little family?'. Of course there are still a lot of people I don't know in our ward yet, but something was different with you guys. I'm so glad I met you! You are such a good friend, and you're so sweet, grounded and level headed. Someone that does a frazzled, spacey person like me good! ;)

One of my most touching memories was when Sarah and I came to visit you after McKenna was born and you showed us her scrapbook. I was so touched that you would share something so personal and beautiful with us. It helped us share so many things that we just didn't know how to put in words. Plus, as Maddy mentioned, you could really scrapbook!!!

On a lighter note, I really had fun at Christmas dinner last year! Thanks so much for inviting us. I need to find some Christmas crackers this year.

I thought I would play too, I found you through Emily's blog. How fun. I remember hanging out with you and Dave. One day I came out of the room I was staying in and you were sitting on Dave. It was kind of funny. I dumb memory, but one at that. I hope you guys are doing well. You have a cute little guy.

Hey Super BonBon, My favorite memory of you is when we were working at "Attorney's Advantage Title" and I was talking to Jeana and you were at the desk across from her and we both looked up as you sat down on your rolling, swiveling chair, and from that point all I could see was arms and legs flailing everywhere until you were on the floor! I still don't know what happened to make you fall, but that was probably one of the funniest things I have ever seen!!!!! Especially from you, you are always so together! I still laugh when I think of that! You are the best and I miss you tons!!!!!!!!
Love, Hailey
P.S. I don't have a blog, but you can email me with a memory if you wish.
